Not only in Amsterdam…

it is indeed true that the meat from AH tastes like it has been killed too long ago and kept in a warm moist enviroment just to make it taste even worse….

i don’t live in Amsterdam but we have the same problems with AH.

i can’t choose to go to another store because there isn’t any other store near my home. i work all day so i can’t go shopping before 18:00 and i can NEVER get any bread…. and when they do have bread it’s disgusting leftovers that no sensible person ever would buy…. if i want to return empty bottles they don’t have a machine but i have to press a bell and wait for hours until someone comes and counts my bottles…. how crappy is that!!!!

when you look at the scale were you need to weigh the vegetables… wow… now that is disgusting!!! that thing is over a 100 years old and has never been cleaned… so when you pick out some veggies and weigh them. why not whipe your ass with them too. they can’t get any more rancid…

for me it makes no difference that i put the vegetables in a bag. that thing is so filthy the vegetables are uneatable to me when they even come near that scale.

i hate AH

Dude, ALL bread in supermarkets sucks. There is a simple solution: buy your bread at a quality bakery for the entire week, put it in your freezer and get one bread out for each day. When out of the freezer, wrap it in a cotton cloth and it stays fresh for days.
AH sucks, but there are plenty of alternatives, just buy your groceries on saturday elsewhere and don’t go buying groceries each day.

Did you know you are supposed to wash your veggies before eating them? Besides that everyone is touching your beloved vegetables, which isn’t that hygienic either.
    Also, SMILE! yr on GEENSTIJL!

    OMG, you talk bullshit.

The bag is filthy? I have NEVER, EVER, NEVER seen a filthy plastic bag at the vegetables.

    Don’t talk bullshit man.

And if you can’t get any bread after 18:00. Go in the morning and you have fresh bread. Go to the local bakkery. Every city has them.

    Stop talking so much bullshit.

Oh BTW. And about the bottles.
That is the biggest bullshit. EVERY AH have a machine.
I dare you to make a photo from an AH, post the adress of it.

I am 100% sure that you are lying.

“i work all day so i can’t go shopping before 18:00 and i can NEVER get any bread”

Do you think the lack of bread could have anything to do with all the salary-slaves only want to shop at AH around 18:00 and later? I know of no supermarket chain which give such high priority to the bread section as AH does… Imagine how good your live would be if you decided not to work till 18:00 and just shop around 17:00. True, you couldn’t get that big mortgage and couldn’t drive such a big car, but at least you wouldn’t have to cue up like in your whole live (traffic jams in the morning, traffic jams on leave-time, traffic jams at the AH). Imagine this…

I see you go to the AH on Dam. Why not get a bike and go to super de boer on westergracht, or even better, Dirk on nassau straat. And foor good vegg there are several markets. AH sucks, yes but then just dont take your business there. You are just lazy

Interessante website. Waar kan ook iemand een kaart toevoegen met AH winkels?

Ik woon niet in Amsterdam, en al helemaal niet in een grote stad… In tegendeel.
